How long have you been a Wavie for? Almost two years

Who inspired you to start waving? Please include their @ name if possible! To be honest, my boyfriend inspired me. He’s been a waver for years and had gave me the idea to do it when I was planning on cutting off my hair.

What made you decide to start your wave journey? I decided to start my wave journey because I wanted to cut my hair off and try a new style and once my boyfriend gave me the idea I just ran with it because it was something new and exciting for me.

Did you have any fears or doubts about waving? If so, what were they?Not really. I was just afraid that my head shape wouldn’t suit the look but it did.

How did you prepare yourself for this new journey? I prepared myself for this journey by looking at female wavers that were on Instagram and seeing how well they were rocking their waves and it just gave me more confidence for my journey.

How did you feel when you  rst started seeing progress? I was so excited when I first started seeing progress and it made me very eager to see my hair transform.

What are some hair products you use to keep those waves right? The main product I use is my wave slime from My fluffy puffs. Along with some hair oils and moisturizers from my local beauty supply store.

Has waving helped your self-confidence in any way? Waving has definitely boosted my confidence in a way that I wouldn’t have imagined. I know now that I can rock any hairstyle and be confident. I’ve also gained so much recognition & love from the waver community.

Was/Is there anything significant about starting your wave journey? Did it symbolize anything to you? There isn’t any real significance behind my wave journey other than me just wanting something new & different for my hair.

What is one thing you would tell a WavyWMN who is just starting out on their wave journey? One thing that I would say is to not give up, trust the process, and the results in the end will be worth it!
